Cats occupy the dog s bed, greedy cats steal the good beagle s bed, all of this is love
Amelia Cobben from Manchester shares an interesting story of her kind beagle often occupied by pet cats. The greedy cat Brian often occupies the poor beagle Betty's bed, while the beagle has to be wronged and squeeze into the cat's bed. After the owner discovered this problem, he decided to buy another bed for Brian. If the bed is big enough, maybe the matter of a cat occupying a dog's bed will be over. However, things didn't go as planned. The cat said that the newly bought bed was also his own, and Betty was still curled up in the bed.
Amelia said the cat likes the beagle because it is a cute, soft puppy. What’s more overdoing is that sometimes Betty is particularly unlucky, and another cat, Sibil, will occupy another bed, leaving poor Betty with no choice. "I thought I could solve this problem by buying a new bed for Brian, but he just likes Betty, and I think Betty has given up. It's so easygoing that he will sleep on the carpet anytime," said Amelia, 30. Betty, who is nine, has never been dissatisfied with the bed being occupied by a cat. “It’s calm and I think it’s quite happy in the small bed,” Amelia said.
"Sometimes Betty wants to take someone else's seat, and it just stares at them, or waits for them to get up." Despite this, Amelia says the little guys do get along well. Four years ago, Amelia adopted Betty from the Animal Protection Centre in Manchester. She added: "Betty had to learn to be a dog when she was five years old. The center received a large number of lab beagles and the Manchester branch had about 10. They took a lot of time and patience to train. It's great that we had this beautiful, caring dog, which was so kind."
