Frank: I m satisfied with Tottenham 3-0 Everton, Vicario showed his ability

Tottenham head coach Frank was interviewed and talked about the team's 3-0 victory over Everton, players Vicario and Van der Ven, as well as new players Randall and Johnson and other topics.

Let’s talk about your views on this performance?

Of course. What a win. Very happy with the win. To win 3-0 away from home in the Premier League is outstanding. Overall, at Goodison Park, it's the first time they've been happy here. They create a dreamy atmosphere. I think throughout the game...I was really happy with the first half.

We feel like we are in the first and second phases, more control, passing the ball forward. You know. Really like it. Second half... obviously the set piece was the icing on the cake, it was crucial. The second half started with a bit of a struggle. But I've said it from the beginning, can we instil that clean sheet mentality into the lads? Then comes victory. A lot...we have a lot to improve on, but overall, it was a solid road win.

Talk about Vicario

I liked the previous performance. I think he's very well-rounded. I think the way he handles the ball, it's very composed and a little jumpy, whether it's a long pass or a short pass out of bounds. We need to do that outside the box, on all set pieces. And then, of course, there were two great saves. The key save was special, that overhead kick. Wow. It just goes to show you what he's capable of. Not exactly...

About Van der Ven

He was outstanding today. He was one of the best players in the game, defended very well, kept the ball well and scored two beautiful goals. I'm really happy for him. And, his development is growing. We said to him before the start of the season that you need to score more goals this season. Rather than being dissatisfied with your left foot, that's okay. You need a scorer on your team. Now he needs to have the desire to score goals, the determination to score goals and do a great job with Andreas. This is especially true of the first one.

Speaking of corners

Big respect to all the lads, especially Andreas and Sean.

About Randall

is pleased with him. Sometimes it looks good. Of course, he still has a lot to improve. He's not where we want him to be physically yet, but it's a good first step. More like a size 10...something a little different, I guess. Another guy I really need to praise: Brandon Johnson. The way he came on and approached the task, it was very...direct. I'm really pleased with his run defense.

Very satisfied with him?

Yes, we are very satisfied. We need him. Finally...this is the best start since five games...wait for it, 20...12, 13. 13 years. Basically, yes. Do we need to be here... but the teams we have to beat, especially on the road. I think we need that solidity. Really happy with the things we want to do better, the solidity we want to build. That cleans up the clean sheet mentality, the set pieces and then we add layers. This gives us a lot of points. The last game was one.

About the fans

They are very nice. I'm happy for them...and the fans. It's a top-level game and, you know, going the long way is just to give them the win.
