Post: Tuanzebe sues Manchester United for medical negligence, demanding more than £1 million in compensation

According to the "Daily Mail" report, Tuanzebe is filing a lawsuit of more than 1 million pounds against Manchester United, accusing the Manchester United club of "medical negligence" in terms of medical advice.

Tuanzebe filed a lawsuit with the High Court in July this year. His United career has been plagued by injuries and, according to court documents, he is no longer able to play football "without restriction or hindrance".

Tuanzebe said that if he wins the lawsuit against Manchester United, he "expects to receive more than 1 million pounds in compensation." Tuanzebe joined Manchester United at the age of 8 and rose through the ranks, making his first-team appearance in January 2017.

While playing for Manchester United, Tuanzebe experienced multiple injuries, including a season-ending injury suffered against Colchester United in December 2019.

Now, the details of Tuanzebe’s case against Manchester United have been disclosed for the first time. The main accusation revolves around a left vertebral arch fracture, a stress fracture injury to the lower spine, that occurred in January 2020. The injury is said to have caused "significant pain and discomfort" to Tuanzebe.

According to reports, the lawsuit also explains that the problem became chronic after the player suffered the same injury to the right side of his lumbar spine again in July 2022.

The lawsuit documents read: "An appropriate treatment plan may have prevented the plaintiff from the pain and discomfort described below and allowed him to play football at an elite level without restrictions or obstacles. However, although he still maintains a high level of competitive fitness, this has affected his career and income."

Tuanzebe and his legal team allege in the High Court case that Manchester United failed to give him sufficient time to recover from the injury and failed to refer him to a specialist sports spine surgeon when he was originally injured. Tuanzebe believes that if Manchester United had taken a different approach to treatment, his left spinal problem would not have become chronic and the right spinal problem would not have been triggered.

Manchester United declined to comment.
