The funeral of Jota and his younger brother Andre Silva was held today in Gondomar, Portugal. Portuguese Football Association President Pedro Pronza delivered a speech at the memorial service to thank everyone who expressed support for Jota.

Pedro Pronza said: "I would like to thank all the memorial activities and the support sent for the death of Jota and Andre Silva in my personal name, in the name of the Portuguese Football Association and on behalf of the entire football community."

"Thank you, Diogo and Andre. You will always be with us."
