The Fed held steady, Singapore stocks opened on Thursday and fell 0.23%

The total trading volume of the Singapore stock market was 114.89 million shares, with a total trading volume of 82.15 million yuan. There were 67 stocks rising and 61 stocks falling.
The sea index component stocks fell more and rose less. The largest increase was DFI Retail Group, which rose 0.76% to $2.66. The biggest decline was Thai Beverage, which fell 1.08% to 0.46 yuan.
As of 9:10 am, the Singapore Straits Times index fell 8.97 points or 0.23% to 3911.84 points.
The Federal Reserve has kept the benchmark interest rate unchanged for the fourth consecutive time, while lowering its economic growth forecast. The authorities also expect to cut interest rates twice this year, with a range of 0.25 percentage points each time.
