In an interview with FIFA official website, Chelsea new player Joao Pedro said that he knew Chelsea's interests, so he has been training to maintain his form.

João Pedro said: "I already knew this deal might happen, I knew Chelsea was interested in me, so I've been training to stay in shape."

"But of course, training in the gym or training alone with a physical coach and training with a teammate are two different things, I'm not 100% yet, but I feel like I can help the team, like today."
