Shearer on Newcastle s defeat: He played so poorly that he was useless, lazy, lax and slow
In the 10th round of the Premier League, Newcastle lost 1-3 away to West Ham. Newcastle star Alan Shearer commented on the game on social media.
Newcastle fell behind 1-2 in the first half. Shearer wrote on social media during halftime: "Newcastle played too badly in the first half. They were slack and slow and made too many mistakes."
After the game, Shearer said: "It's really terrible. There was no improvement in the second half. It was simply useless. Lazy, slow and listless. Well done, West Ham."
