Newcastle official: To avoid public transportation safety issues, fans should not gather at the entrance of the training center

Recently, Newcastle United issued an announcement on the club's official website, calling on fans not to gather at the entrance of the training center to avoid public transportation safety issues.

Why we made this request

Currently the only entrance to the training center is a narrow one-way public lane, which is used by both vehicles and pedestrians. As the number of people gathering at a training center increases, so does the risk of serious injury from vehicles and people sharing small spaces.

When crowds gather, people will move into lanes, which not only poses a threat to their own safety, but also poses a danger to road users. In addition, some people will approach players' vehicles as close as a kilometer before a traffic light, again posing a risk to themselves and others.

Please avoid the Training Center entrance

To support public safety, we have instructed players and coaches not to park when entering or exiting the Training Center. We do not take this step lightly and we value the strong connection our fans have with our players and coaches. But safety must come first and we are confident that fans will understand and support the club, players and staff in abiding by this requirement and we will continue to organize opportunities for fans to meet players during the season.

Charity Policy

We understand that some fans seek signed items for charities, and our charity policy can be found on the official website.
