West Ham official: 19-year-old Scales has successfully undergone surgery to repair a fractured collarbone

West Ham United announced that 19-year-old Oliver Scales has successfully undergone surgery to repair a fractured collarbone. The young defender will continue his rehabilitation under the guidance of the club's medical team in Rush Green.

Scales suffered an injury after falling heavily while landing during a scramble in the first half of last Friday's Premier League match against Leeds United. Scales has now successfully undergone surgery to repair a fractured collarbone.

Richard Collinge, director of physical fitness at West Ham United, said: "Scales' surgery went well. He will now focus on recovery and rehabilitation. Our goal is to have him return to the game in December."
